GOLF - Fast Review - Portugal - Riba Golfe
Riba has two courses and we played number 1
The course is set in rolling terrain amongst cork trees on a massive plot which is to be fully developed. However it appears until development happens the course won't reach its full potential.
It was a bit scruffy and unloved which I suspect is due to under funding. That aside it's a good track with many interesting holes especially the back nine when water is very much in play.
The course was well watered the day I played so greens very receptive and a few mud balls on the fairways.
I think given investment this could be a premier course and worth the 30 miles east of Lisbon
drive, although would play again even if the course was as it was today.
