Premier League Preview - The bookies love us

Football : An improvement, but literally that was the only possible outcome.

It couldn't get any worse.

It actually couldn't because then we would have picked no results whatsoever. We improved to a quite positive (for us) 4/10. Spurs, Chelsea, and Liverpool all at Home let us down, but that would be papering over the cracks in what has been a horrendous start to our season.

But we will keep trying, and keep advising you to look elsewhere if you are in the market for wise and successful 'investing'.

Saturday 23rd September

West Ham Vs Tottenham : The Hammers ruined Spurs title chances when these two last played at the London Stadium. Spurs frustrations against Swansea might lead other teams to be less expansive against Spurs, who seem to struggle when they have to break teams down. Will West Ham attack at home? London derby and not much love lost between these two. The bookies have Spurs as odds on favourites, so obviously a DRAW is our pick.

Burnley Vs Huddersfield : Both teams have made a pretty good start to the season. This has the feel of a cagey match where neither team will want to ruin the momentum of this good start. Being brave though, Sean Dyche will go for the win, so HOME WIN favoured just.

Everton Vs Bournemouth : Surely Everton can kick start their season here? That these two are in the bottom three after 5 games is crazy, but a win or either will catapult them to mid table and the start of better things. HOME WIN

Manchester City Vs Crystal Palace : HOME WIN

Southampton Vs Manchester United : Tough away game for the Red Devils. Pogba is out, much to JM chagrin. Southampton look lively and should give Utd a really good game. Can they keep Lukaku at bay? We're going for a value DRAW

Not much chance of another 6-1 win for The Saints

Not much chance of another 6-1 win for The Saints

Stoke Vs Chelsea : Chelsea have the Costa monkey off their back. (seriously that was genuinely no pun or offensive remark)  Hazard may well return and they have no major injury concerns. We're picking Chelsea to pick up 3 points. AWAY WIN

Swansea Vs Watford : Can Swansea's bus take the sting out of the hornets?  Watford have the tools to win but it largely depends on Swansea deciding how to play? Gone are the pass on the floor days of Gary Monk, but the direct approach doesn't suit them either. A risky AWAY WIN for us.

Leicester Vs Liverpool : Klopp ain't a happy bunny. Shakespeare is working with a disjointed team who seem thoroughly unmotivated in terms of knowing what the goals for their club are. The bookmakers are firmly on the fence and so are we. DRAW

Sunday 24th September

Brighton Vs Newcastle : The Toon find themselves 4th in the table off the back of 3 straight wins. Brighton have made a slower start to their life in the Premier League. These two battled it out for Championship glory last year and it's hard to pick a result here. Another DRAW is our guess. And it really is a guess!

The last time these two met at the AMEX was in The Championship earlier this year.

Monday 25th September

Arsenal Vs West Brom : The Gunners played well against Chelsea and look to have some of their swagger back. They should have enough to turn over West Brom at The Emirates. HOME WIN.
