Matthew Robinson is the first ever player to have had a FIFA Ultimate Team card and his own song in the game.
Robinson started his career with his boyhood club, Leicester city as a youth team player. After not being offered a contract at The Foxes he went on trial with Conference Premier League side Luton Town. Robinson impressed manager Paul Buckle in pre-season and he was offered a 2 year professional contract in 2012 ahead of the new season.
In Robinson’s 2nd season with Luton he would prove to be a key member of the side which won the Conference Premier League and earned promotion back to League 2. In that successful 2013-14 campaign he played 31 times in all competitions scoring 2 goals from midfield.
Robinson made his Football League debut in a 1-0 victory at Carlisle on the opening day of the 2014-15 season. He went on to make 12 appearances in all competitions for The Hatters that year which saw him earn a new 3 year contract at Kenilworth Road.
However on the 31st of October a month after signing a new contract, Robinson went on loan to Conference side Kidderminster Harriers, which was followed by another two loan moves the season after to Grimsby Town and Woking.
In 2016 after being released a year early by Luton, Robinson signed for Conference Premier League Dagenham & Redbridge which is where he got a call up to the England C team. At the age of 25 Robinson is still applying his trade for The Daggers, and has played over 230 professional games scoring 7 goals.
As an MC he raps under the name Kamakaze and has collaborated with artists such as Massappeals, Big Zuu, Capo Lee and Izzie Gibbs to name a few…. check out his Ultimate card too.
